At The Royal Liberty School a high quality P.S.H.E.E and citizenship education is provided to our students from Year 7-11
The focus of the P.S.H.E.E and Citizenship curriculum is to provide a sound understanding of risk with the knowledge and skills necessary to make safe and informed decisions as well as drug education, financial education, sex and relationship education (SRE) and the importance of physical activity and diet for a healthy lifestyle. Students learn a sound knowledge and understanding of how the United Kingdom is governed, its political system and how citizens participate actively in its democratic systems of government. They develop a sound knowledge and understanding of the role of law and the justice system in our society and how laws are shaped and enforced. Students develop an interest in, and commitment to, participation in volunteering as well as other forms of responsible activity which they will take with them into adulthood.
