Welcome to
our School
Thank you for the interest you have shown in the Royal Liberty School. It is a school with a wealth of tradition and history, but it is also a school looking ahead to an exciting future.
Royal Liberty School is a Specialist Science College and also a Microsoft IT Academy. As a specialist school we have a strong focus on high achievement in all subjects. With our community partners we are able to offer students greater opportunities to achieve their potential. Our partnership with Microsoft also puts this school at the forefront of new developments in ICT so we can use the power of technology to transform learning.
With places for 600 students, we are a relatively small school but this is a real advantage in creating a friendly, supportive and caring environment for learning.
If you are looking for a school that is committed to preparing its students for the challenges of life in the 21st Century but is also concerned to encourage traditional values of courtesy, respect and tolerance for others then come and visit Royal Liberty.
You are most welcome to visit our Open Evenings or to arrange an individual appointment for a guided tour of our school.
I look forward to meeting you and to introducing you to the students who make Royal Liberty a great school.

The "We Spy" Project
'We Spy' with our little eyes something beginning with 'R'.
Have you guessed what it is? Romford, of course! Our school has been successful in securing a grant from the National Lottery to make a web app for smartphones all about Romford. This will include making a digital map of the area and featuring the experiences and stories of local people. This is such an exciting and amazing opportunity for the school and the ten pupils involved in creating an app, especially in the run up to the Olympics.
